Alfred Kraus

ALFRED W. KRAUS

Age 57 of Braidwood and formerly Darmstadt, Illinois, passed away Friday October 21, 2005 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.

Born October 15, 1948 in Belleville, Illinois, Alfred was a son of Viola (nee Galle) and the late Alfred C. Kraus.

Alfred was employed by CRST Malone Trucking Company.

Survivors include his mother Viola of Darmstadt; two sisters: Gloria (Gene) Schifferdecker of Marissa, Illinois and Shirley of Darmstadt. Two nieces: Gina (Dan) Mesch and Sanog (Mitch) Prosise of Lebanon, Illinois. Three great nephews: Daniel and Eddie Mesch and Austin Prosise. One great niece Tayloe Prosise and dear friends: Jessie Bailey of Braidwood and her sons Larry and Dan, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday October 24, 2005 from 1:00PM until time of time of funeral service 3:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (2 Blocks North of Illinois Route 53) in Wilmington. Rev. Shirley Mc Clain will officiate.

Cremation rites will then follow per Alfred's request.
