ALICE A. BORESI

Age 80 of Coal City, passed away Saturday February 04, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born September 07, 1925 in South Wilmington, Alice was a daughter of the late Sero and Rose (Domagala) Corsini. She was raised and educated in South Wilmington, and graduated from Gardner a�" South Wilmington High School. On January 19, 1946 Alice married Albert Boresi in South Wilmington, and together they lived their entire married life in Coal City. Together Albert and Alice owned and operated Boresi Service Center in Coal City for many years and Alice was employed by The Village of Coal City as a deputy clerk until her retirement. Alice was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, The Martha's, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and in her free time, Alice enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Chicago Bulls fan.

Survivors include her daughter Barbara (Richard) Vanderhoff and two grandsons: Jeff Vanderhoff and Aaron Vanderhoff, all of Coal City; Two great grandchildren: Felicia Vanderhoff and Ashton Brainard; one brother-in-law William Boresi and one aunt Pauline Domagala, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert in 1985; one brother Frank (Naomi) Corsini and three sisters: Viola (James) Boresi, Clara (Robert) Fuller and Lucille (George) Valerio.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 06, 2006 between the hours of 5:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (1 Block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday February 7th at 11:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Mike Pennock from Assumption Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Alice's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
