Allen "Pepsi Man" Randt

Age 60, of Braidwood, formerly Chicago, Wisconsin and Diamond, Illinois, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born December 17, 1961 in Chicago, a son to Carole (Bass) Randt and step mother Mary Lawson. He was raised and educated in Chicago. In 1988 he married Michelle Krebs and together they cherished 34 years. Allen most recently worked as a Pipe Fitter for Local 190, but previously owned and operated A & W Towing and drove a School Bus for Illinois Central School Bus in Coal City. He was an avid car and Harley Davidson enthusiast who could always be seen with his favorite beverage, Pepsi. A great man with a big heart, Allen, aka Pepsi Man and CarBer Al, never knew a stranger. Anyone who ever met him would not easily forget him. Allen was deeply loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife Michelle of Braidwood; five children: Anthony Randt of Illinois, Nicole (Chris Lowe) Wiltz of Diamond, and G (Samuel) Romans, Keith (Maralee) Randt and Kurt (Alexandrea) Randt, all of Braidwood; four grandchildren: Alexa, McKenna, Ezekiel and Uriah; one brother Richard (Kim) Randt of Morris; two half brothers: Matt and Mikey Randt of Wisconsin; five half sisters: Monica, Melinda, Melissa, Ellie and Michelle; sister-in-laws Donna (Don) Williams, Jolene (Danny) Quinones and Karen (Enrique) Bucina; Brother in Law Joey Bucina; mother in law Arlene Bucina; one aunt Maria Bucina; numerous nieces and nephews; cousin Ron Buchanan, and best friend and brother Charles "Pinto Man" Trytek.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Rhonda Randt; one brother, Billy Randt in infancy; grandfather William Bass; David "Pops" Lewis, and his son-in-law, Michael Wiltz.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway, (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Cremation rites will follow funeral services.

Preferred memorials in Allen's memory may be made as gifts to Toys for Tots.
