Andrew Nicoletti

Age 55 of Bayonne, New Jersey and previously of New York and Texas, died unexpectedly on May 24, 2023.

Born December 23, 1967 in Chicago, Andrew was a son of James Landon and Lynne Kathleen (Koerner) Nicoletti He was raised in Coal City, Illinois and graduated from Coal City High School with the Class of 1986. Andrew went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois where he was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi.

Andrew worked at Control Services, specializing in demolition; was a fan of Chicago sports, and enjoyed sailing. He raced several races including Mackinac and was a former member of the Chicago Yacht Club.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law Jennifer Nicoletti and Mike Togliatti, as well as several cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by both of his parents, James and Lynne Nicoletti.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be a memorial visitation held on July 8, 2023 at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway in Coal City from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. memorial service.

Andrew will be laid to rest in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Andrew’s memory to the family who in turn will donate to US Sailing, developing and inspiring youth sailors.
