"Angie"

Age 48 of Morris, Illinois, died Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Morris Hospital.

Born May 7, 1978, Angie was the daughter of Walter and Debra (Whiting) Sloas. She worked with Illinois Valley Industries since 1999, serving in many capacities. Angie was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears, as well as the Dallas Cowboys. She also took pleasure in watching WWE professional wrestling, so much so that one of her most prized possessions was a life-sized Roman Reigns cutout. Bocce ball and bowling, as well as Monopoly were some of Angie's favorite pastimes, but more than anything she will be remembered for being a joy to anyone she met. She light up any room she was in with her vibrant light and consistent happiness and positive attitude. Angie touched many lives in her few short years, but her light will continue to shine for years to come.

Angie is survived by her cousins: Michael (Ashley) McCammond of Minooka, Illinois and Jennifer McCammond of Oswego, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, and her special aunt: Jaima Dolin.

Cremation rites are being accorded, and there are no public services arranged at this time.
