”Nina”

Age 35 of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly Thursday December 19, 2019 at her home.

Born July 15, 1984 in Morris, Anita Corinne is a daughter of Ginette (nee Brown) Leenerman and Kerry Allen. She was raised in Wilmington and attended Wilmington Schools. Nina had a talent for crafting and making jewelry, as well as sketching and writing short stories. Nina was a free spirit who loved to sing, and had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. She will also be remembered for being a big fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include her parents: Ginette (Dave) Leenerman of Gardner, and Kerry Allen of Romeoville; her paternal grandmother: Frances (the late Bill) Allen of Romeoville; one brother: Jim Jewett of Kankakee; one sister: Debbie (Steven) Boult of Braidwood; several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Roger and Mauricette Brown.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation rites are being accorded and private family services will be held.
