Anna Padovano

ANNA PADOVANO

Age 83 of Morris and formerly Goose Lake, passed away Saturday November 12, 2005 at her home.

Born July 22, 1922 in Italy, Anna was a daughter of the late Paul and Concetta Fedele. She was raised and educated in Italy, and on April 24, 1948 Anna married William A. Padovano in Italy. Upon moving to the United States Anna and William lived together in the Chicago area until moving to Goose Lake in 1974. Anna was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City and the Coal City Senior Citizens. She loved to garden and cook.

Survivors include her two sons: Anthony (Kristina) Padovano of Morris and William P. (Carol) Padovano of Goose Lake. Five grandchildren: Mark (Jana), Anthony, Karl, Michael and Michelle; three great grandchildren Joshua Jeffrey, Joshua David and Isabella and one sister Tina of Italy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins from Italy and Australia.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William in 2002.

Visitation will be held on Monday November 14, 2005 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday November 15th at 10:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Mike Pennock officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris and Pallbearers will be Anna's Grandchildren: Mark, Anthony, Karl, Michael and Michelle and great grandson Joshua David.
