Annette Crawford

Age 63 of Morris, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Morris Hospital.

Born April 22, 1958 in Wilmington, Annette was a daughter of Lester and Macie Crawford. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School. Annette enjoyed spending time with her friends and going out dancing, especially to Déjà vu in Wilmington. She also took pleasure in puzzles and playing bingo, but her greatest joy was her family. Annette devoted herself to raising her children and did her best to be the best mom she could be, and looked forward to every opportunity to be with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two children: Tabatha Vandover (fiancé Jack Stofan) and Terry Crawford, both of Morris; four grandchildren: Kyley (Isaac) Ordonez of Champaign, Denver and Cameron Vandover, both of Morris, and Quentin (Lexi) Norton of Joliet; two brothers and two sisters: Joann (the late Jerry) Giasson of Washburn, Illinois, John Crawford and Judy Crawford, both of Wilmington, and Lloyd Crawford of Essex; one brother-in-law, Bob Neese of Wilmington, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Grace, two brothers: Robert (Betty) Crawford and Lester Ray Crawford; one sister, Betty Sue Neese, one niece, Deb Neese, and one nephew, Robert Neese, Jr.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services, 7:00 p.m. Reverend Bradley Shumaker will officiate, and cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Anyone attending the visitation and funeral services are kindly asked to wear face masks while present.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Annette’s memory to the family for their distribution.
