Arno E. Reichel

Age 81 of Dolton, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Aperion Care in Wilmington.

Born March 31, 1939 in Blue Island, Illinois, Arno Edwin was a son of Kurt and Ruth (Konsoer) Reichel. He was raised in Dolton and graduated from Thornton High School. Arno owned and operated AR Trucking in Dolton. In years past, he was involved with the church youth group and enjoyed attending the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Arno took pleasure in motorcycle racing; loved the outdoors and throughout the years spent time fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his son Arno (Caitlin) Reichel of Manhattan; one granddaughter, Adelyn and five nieces and nephews: David, Janet, William, Robert and Colleen.

Arno was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth.

Private family services are being held, and Arno will be laid to rest with his parents in First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
