Age 61 of Mazon, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his home.

Born October 13, 1958 in Morris, Brian Stephen was a son of Vincent and Alice (nee Debelak) Biros, Sr. He was raised and educated in Mazon, and graduated from Mazon High School with the Class of 1976. On November 20, 1999, Brian married Ann Renae Koehler in Pierce, Nebraska. Together, they would make their home in Mazon and raise their daughter.

Brian was a dairy farmer, and worked with his brother, Vincent, Jr., on the family farm northeast of Mazon. He was a skilled mechanic, and started early by getting his first motor running by the age of ten. Brian enjoyed restoring and fixing anything from tractors to chainsaws. He was an avid collector of pedal tractors and HO scale slot cars. Brian was particularly fond of dogs, especially Blue Heeler cattle dogs.

Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Ann Biros of Mazon, one daughter, Nicole Biros of Mazon, one sister, Diane Francois of Braceville, one brother, Vincent (Marsha) Biros, Jr. of Mazon, two sisters-in-law: Lynette Koehler and Holly Koehler, both of Pierce, Nebraska; three brothers-in-law: Bryan Koehler of Pierce, Nebraska, John Latham of Morris, and Ronald Dearth of Morris; several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Brian was preceded by his parents, two sisters: Stephanie Latham and Cathy Sterba; brothers-in-law: Jim Sterba and Donald Francois; niece, Jennifer Latham, and mother-in-law, Fern Koehler.

Per Brian's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway Street (one block north of Illinois Route 113), in Coal City on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held following the visitation.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Brian's memory to the family to help fund his daughter's education.
