Carl J. Rubini
Age 64 of Wilmington passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Born October 6, 1956 in Chicago, Carl was a son of Victor, Sr. and Anne (Bukowski) Rubini. He was raised and educated in Hoffman Estates and graduated from James B. Conant High School with the Class of 1974. Carl then began his career as a pipefitter, and was a member of the Pipefitter’s Local Union 597 for over 30 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 241 in Wilmington, and he enjoyed spending his free time outdoors fishing, hunting, and boating. As a young man, Carl looked forward to wintertime when he could go snow skiing, and later in life developed a passion for motorcycling.
Survivors include his brother, Jacob Rubini, Sr., his niece and nephew: Jacob Rubini, Jr. and Nadine Rubini; many loving cousins, and numerous dear friends, including David (Sue) Hipelius.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Victor Rubini, Jr.
Per Carl’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
