Casimir M. Sadowski
Age 90 of Coal City passed away at home on Sunday, March 8, 2020
Born May 20, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, Casimir was the son of Walter and Mary (nee Zadrozny) Sadowski.
He was raised in Chicago; graduated from Tilden High School and went on to serve two terms in the United States Army. Casey was employed by Goldblatt’s in Chicago, where he drove a truck until retiring. Following his retirement, Casey and his wife Helen relocated to Mesa, Arizona where they made their home and were active with Church of The Master. In 2010, Casey returned to Illinois to be near family.
Survivors include three children: Casey (Gay) Sadowski of Joliet, Kathleen (Patrick) Cassin of Goose Lake, and Bob (Denise) Sadowski of South Carolina, and one step son, Rick (Eileen) Wentin of Channahon; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Casimir was preceded in death by his parents; wife Helen; and two sisters: Helen Zorn and Irene Siedlinski.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Casey will be laid to rest with his late wife Helen in the Memorial Garden at Church of The Master in Mesa, Arizona at a later date.
