Cheryl D. Bieber

Age 79 of Morris, Illinois, died Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris.  

Born December 12, 1943, in Morris, Cheryl was one of nine children born to Albert and Carol (Gower) Pfaff. She was raised in Morris and graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1961. 

Cheryl was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and birds. She resided in Joliet, Illinois prior to succumbing to a debilitating stroke in 2009. 

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joelle Elberts and one granddaughter, Angelle Elberts, all of Coal CIty.  

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Bieber on March 1, 1991; one son, Eugene Elberts and her grandson, Owen Elberts. 

Cremation rites have been accorded, and Cheryl will be laid to rest with her late husband Tom in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at a later date.
