Cheryl Marie Seppi

Age 75 of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Joliet, Illinois, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home.

Born December 5, 1950 in Joliet, Cheryl was a daughter of Raymond and Cecilia (Titra) Strle. She was raised and educated in Joliet and graduated from St. Francis Academy with the Class of 1969. On September 4, 1971, Cheryl married Thomas J. Seppi at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. They lived in Joliet for a time until they relocated to Goose Lake, where they lived and raised their family.

Cheryl worked for over 30 years at Munch's Supply Co. in Morris where she worked in the accounting department. After her husband passed away, she worked for the Joliet Catholic Diocese in their accounting department until she formally retired. Cheryl was a bright, intelligent woman who valued life-long learning. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and used writing as a creative outlet by making her own poems and short stories.

Survivors include three children: Thomas (Margaret) Seppi, Jr. of Rockdale, Illinois, Vanessa (Matthew) Kiger of Richmond, Illinois, and Justin Seppi of Florida; four grandchildren: Thomas (Emilee) Seppi III, Brennan Seppi, Devon (Kylee) Martin, and Nathaniel Baldwin (fiancé: McKenzie Korhorn); three great grandchildren: Lily, Jasey, and Harper; two brothers and one sister: John (Kathy) Strle of Shorwood, Illinois, Raymond (Nicki) Strle, Jr. of Joliet, and Mary Fran Yelvington of Joliet; one brother-in-law, Rudy (the late Judy) Seppi, and several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Tom; and one sister-in-law, Virginia (Mo) Bennett.

Per Cheryl's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and she will be privately laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
