Cindy Tanner

Age 61 of Wilmington passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Aperion Care of Wilmington.

Born June 13, 1959 in Chicago, Cynthia Sue was a daughter of James and Shirley (nee Russell) Wilburn. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated with the Class of 1977. Cindy was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Diamond, where she loved sharing her strong Christian Faith and serving the Lord. She enjoyed reading, artwork, and cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents, James and Shirley Wilburn; three children: Amie (Jason) Sheputis, Joseph (Aliesha) Tanner, and Troy Enlow; five grandchildren: Caden, Caleb, Calvin, Abbie, and Addison; siblings: Kim Enlow and Alan Wilburn; her Aunt Sue and Uncle Don; several special cousins; the father of her children, Johnny Tanner and special friend, Ronda Allott.

Per Cindy’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service will be held at Christian Life Assembly of God, 2960 E. Division St. in Diamond, IL on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
