Cora Mae Love

Age 88 of Custer Park, Illinois passed away October 27, 2021 at her home.

Born May 26, 1933 in Kankakee, Illinois, Cora Mae was a daughter of Harold and Adeline (Reardenz) Hoffman.  She was raised and educated in Custer Park and graduated from Reed-Custer High School. On October 3, 1952, Cora married John Love, Jr. in Kankakee and together they made a home and raised their family in Custer Park. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Cora helped to raise animals on the farm, and held an unwavering love for her family.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, John Love, Jr.; four children: Douglas (Mariea) Love, Dennis (LuAnn) Love, David (Linda) Love, and Janice (Joe) Mancuso; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three siblings: Doris, Glenn, and Vernon, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Carol Ann and Lorraine.

Per Cora's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
