Dana Marie Shelly

Age 42 of Wilmington, Illinois died Thursday August 25, 2022.

Born June 25, 1980 in Kankakee, Illinois, Dana Marie is a daughter of Liz Eubanks of Wilmington. She was raised in Braidwood until moving to Wilmington at the age of 13. Dana enjoyed gardening and will be most remembered for the love she held for her kids.

Survivors include her mother, Liz Eubanks; four children: Shana Sorg, Leigha Bailey, Raeleigh Bailey and Jace Bailey, and one sister, Melissa Humphrey Boyd, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Dana was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janet Evans and the father of her daughter, Thomas Sorg.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and she will be laid to rest at a later date.
