Age 67 of Wilmington passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Born May 4, 1952 in Harvey, Illinois, Daniel Steven was a son of Walter and Freida (nee Mangold) Glogowski. He was raised and educated in Harvey and was a truck driver for M and E Cold Storage in Chicago and Bolingbrook Cold Storage. Daniel was a Teamsters Union member and was proud to be a devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a gifted handyman and especially enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include his son, Aaron Glogowski of Wilmington; stepchildren: Jeremy, Jason, Emily, Chris, Richard, and Sarah; several grandchildren, and his six siblings: Frank (Carol) Glogowksi, Patricia (James) Tyler, Frances (Paul) Talaga, Barbara Saternus, Darice (Jeff) Szurkowski, and Mike (Sandi) Glogowski.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Teresa D. Glogowski, who passed away March 31, 2020; and his brother, Aaron Glogowski.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service for both Daniel and Teresa will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Baskerville Funeral Home 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Daniel’s memory to: Alcoholics Anonymous, General Service Office, Box 459, Grand Central Station, New York, New York 10163.
