Dawn Marie Mahoney

Age 59 of Wilmington, formerly of Joliet, passed away Thursday morning, June 3, 2021, at her home.

Born July 17, 1961 in Peoria, Illinois, Dawn is a daughter of Ken and Berana Beth (Carr) Glasgow. She was raised and educated in Joliet, and graduated from Joliet West High School. She was a member of Jackson Creek Fellowship Church in Green Garden Township. Dawn was a devoted wife and mother, and in her free time enjoyed watching Little House on the Prairie.

Survivors include her parents, Ken and Berana Glasgow of Arizona, her husband, Albert Mahoney of Wilmington, whom she married August 16, 2008; two daughters: Jennifer (Ryan) Colehan of Lockport and Ashley (Matt) Adamson of Plainfield; six stepchildren: Laurie Homes of Holland, Michigan, Bill Mahoney of Branson, Missouri, Tony Mahoney of Joliet, Kevin Mahoney of Dunlap, Kansas, and Jennifer and Todd Mahoney, both of Manhattan; four grandchildren: Sophia, Robert, Ryan and Emerson; and two sisters: Kimmie Glasgow and Tracie Marciniak.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, June 7, 2021 in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Randall Dopp officiating. Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
