Dean Sanaghan

Age 59 of Gardner, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 31, 2018 at his home.

Born July 26, 1958 in Terra Haute, Indiana, Dean was raised in Homewood, Illinois. He was currently employed as a driver with Xylem, Ltd. out of Channahon, and in his free time, enjoyed fishing and anything car related; NASCAR and demolition derby. Dean was always a hard worker who knew how to motivate. He possessed a great work ethic, and will forever be remembered as truly a selfless man.

Survivors include his wife Liz, whom he married July 25, 2008; one daughter Erin (Jason) Jaques of Griffith, Indiana; one step-son, William Alan (Jaime) McKay of Oak Lawn; three grandchildren: Elijah Palomar of Dyer, Indiana and Cooper Jaques and Logan Jaques, both of Griffith; three step-grandchildren: Alexis, Ryan and Caitlyn McKay, all of Oak Lawn; two brothers: Ronnie and Jeff and two sisters: Audrey and Annette.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Marilyn and Robert Sanaghan and two daughters: Sarah Sanaghan and Cari Sanaghan.

Per Dean’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Dean’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
