Debbie Talty

Age 53 of Coal City, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born June 24, 1964 in Whittier, California, Deborah Lynn is a daughter of Robert and Suzy Hopp. She was raised and educated in Monrovia, California, and following school went to work for Ford Motor Credit Company in Glendale. After the birth of her third son, Debbie relocated to Illinois, where she made her home and was a devoted mother to her three boys.

A huge fan of ‘I Love Lucy’, Debbie collected the sitcoms memorabilia; she had a special place in her heart for animals, and she cherished her pets.

Survivors include her parents, Robert and Suzy Hopp of California; three sons: Brandon, Kyle and Justin Talty; one sister, Shelly, and nieces and nephews: Christopher Lyons, Ashley Gillespie, Ryan and Tyler Talty and Lauren Finn.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Jackson St. in Morris on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of memorial service 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Roy Backus will officiate.
