Denna Gallegos

Age 46 of Joliet, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.

Born Janaury 6, 1978 in Joliet, Denna was a daughter of Daniel Hendrix and Peggy Gallegos. She was raised and educated in Joliet where she attended Joliet schools. Denna was a loving mother to her children and was especially proud of her grandson whom she treasured. 

Survivors include her father, Daniel Hendrix, and her husband, Jose Arriaga; three children: Jacob Palmer (Katie Ilkanic), Jose Arriaga, Jr., and Favian Arriaga; one grandson, Kashton Palmer, and two sisters: Eugenia Taylor and Nickie Gallegos.

Denna was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Gallegos and her sister, Peggy Taylor.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there are no memorial services planned at this time.
