EDMUND B. KAPALA, JR. "Eddie"

Age 53 of Coal City, passed away suddenly Monday December 5, 2005 at his home.

Born September 03, 1952 in Joliet, Eddie was a son of the late Edmund B., Sr. and Lucille (Padden) Kapala. Eddie was raised in Joliet and moved to Coal City in 1978. He worked for Illinois Valley Industries and he loved music.

Survivors include his three sisters: Janice (Louis) Binder of Morris, Diana (Richard) Wilda of Joliet and Edmonda Wilder of Dwight. Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and one great nephew, as well as his special caregiver Bobbie Morrison of Coal City.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday December 8, 2005 between the hours of 5:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Friday December 9th at 10:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Mike Pennock officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Crest Hill.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Eddie's memory to The American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle Street, Suite #900, Chicago, IL 60604.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
