Edward J. Reilly

Age 81 of Ontonagon, Michigan and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Born September 29, 1940 in Chicago, Ed was raised in Chicago and graduated from Harper High School.

One who truly enjoyed his retirement, Ed took pleasure in simply spending time with his wife, family and animals. He loved fishing and the outdoors, and could often be found visiting his favorite coffee spot in Michigan every morning.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda; daughter, Gina Wills (Ron Rosinski) and Michael P. (Sue) Reilly, both of Joliet, Illinois and Shawn M. Reilly of Chicago; grandchildren: Victoria Wills of Coal City, Illinois, Felicia (Caitlyn) Hickey Wills of Marseilles, Illinois, and Kayla, Danielle and Michael Reilly, all of Joliet; Great grandchildren: Branson of Coal City, and Bryce and MeKenna, both of Joliet; nephew, SGT. USMC Juan (Renee) Martinez; great nephews: Nathan G. (Suzy Lechner) Martinez and Camden M. Martinez, and great-great nephew, Gabriel C. Martinez, all of Paulden, Arizona, and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Deborah Martinez; sisters: Sherry M. Martinez and Lori Lopresti, and his brother, Robert J. Reilly.

Cremation rites have been accorded and per his wishes, there will be no services.
