EMMA R. BOYLE

Age 84 of Morris, passed away Monday December 5, 2005 at her home.

Born April 01, 1921 in Passau, Germany, Emma was a daughter of the late Karl and Emma (Berto) Prohaska. She was raised and educated in Germany and on October 26, 1946 Emma married Lawrence Boyle in Passau, Germany. Together they lived most of their married life in Morris. Emma was proud to be a naturalized American citizen. She was a member and past president of the Morris Women's Club, a member of the Sweet Adelines, Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader. Emma loved to knit and crochet.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years Lawrence; three children: Larry (GraceAnne) Boyle of rural Morris, John (Jan) Boyle of Bourbonnais and Christl (Tony) McCoy of Morris. Eight grandchildren: Erica (Dan) Fuss of Bloomington, Andrea Boyle and Larry Boyle both of rural Morris, Edward (Amber) Boyle of Shorewood, Carie (Noah) Bellamy of Dayton, Ohio, Amanda (Benjamin) Salgado of Hickory Hills, Illinois, and Christopher (Jennifer - fiance) Greenback and Patrick Greenback both of Morris. Three great grandchildren: Jacob, Ashley and Brian; one brother Erich Prohaska of Passau, Germany, one sister-in-law Barbara Ann Salars of Silver City, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2005 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow on Thursday December 8th, at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Smith from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris officiating.

Burial will be in Aux Sable Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher Greenback, Patrick Greenback, Tony McCoy, Edward Boyle, Larry Boyle, Benjamin Salgado and Noah Bellamy.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Emma's name to The Morris Hospital Foundation, 150 W. High Street, Morris, IL 60450.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Morris.
