Evelyn Mae Zerboglio

Age 85 of Coal City, passed away Friday July 07, 2006 at her home.

Born February 10, 1921 in Joliet, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Trinka) Vilt. She was raised and educated in Coal City and was a graduate of Coal City High School. On June 21, 1947 Evelyn married John J. Zerboglio in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City. Together they lived in Coal City their entire married life, where John practiced law for 27 years. Evelyn was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City.

Survivors include five daughters: Diane Zerboglio of Des Plaines, Janet (Dennis) Johnson of Wheaton, Karen (Stephen) Broucek of Naperville, Nancy (Merlin, Jr.) Hanson of Coal City and Alice (David) Rolf of Springfield. (13) Grandchildren: David Stone, Rebecca Stone, Kurt Johnson, Kristen Johnson, Brad Johnson, Andrew Broucek, Matthew Broucek, Christopher Hanson, Jeanette Hanson, Deborah Rolf, Katherine Rolf, Christine Rolf and Carolyn Rolf, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband John in 1984 and one sister Josephine Tira.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning July 11, 2006 from 9:00AM until 10:30AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City with Rev. Mike Pennock and Rev. Slawomir Ignasik officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Evelyn's grandchildren.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Evelyn's memory to Coal City School District - Unit One Foundation, 415 N. Garfield, Coal City, Illinois 60416
