EVERETT W. KUHN

Age 94 of Morris and formerly Seneca, passed away Sunday February 05, 2006 at Morris Community Hospital.

Born December 16, 1911 in Brookfield Township, Everett was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Kenny) Kuhn. On October 3, 1938 Everett married Loretta Mary Hanley in Sacred Heart Church in Kinsman and they farmed in Brookfield Township south of Seneca. Everett was also known for his carpentry work in the area. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Kinsman, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society and he was a board member of the Seneca Public Schools for 43 years.

Survivors include one daughter Eleanor (Paul) Tomasula of Hanover Park, Illinois; two sons Robert (Linda) Kuhn of Ottawa and Edward (Susan) Kuhn of LaSalle; Five grandchildren: Lori (Neil) Farneti of Champaign, Chris Kuhn of LaSalle, Amanda Kuhn of Orlando, Florida, Anne Tomasula of Chicago and John Tomasula of DeKalb. One cousin Agnes Green of Seneca; two brothers-in-law: Frank (Louise) Hanley of Morris and Bernard Hanley of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and two sisters-in-law: Marion Kuhn of Seneca and Zita Halloran of Morris, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, wife Loretta (2004) and one brother Francis Kuhn (2004).

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Thursday February 09, 2006 between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home a�" 408 East Washington Street (1 Block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral Services will follow on Friday February 10th with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate and burial will follow the funeral luncheon in St. Patrick's Ransom Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Kuhn, John Tomasula, Neil Farneti, Chuck Hanley, Mike Kuhn, Joe Green, Ken Hanley, Bill Hanley, Lee Miller, Jim Halloran and Pat Carey.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Everett's name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church a�" 219 W. Emmett Street, Kinsman, Illinois 60437; The Morris Hospital Foundation, 150 West High Street, Morris, Illinois 60450 or Walnut Grove Activities Department, 1095 Twilight Drive, Morris, Illinois 60450.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Morris.
