Frances Bruce

FRANCES C. BRUCE

Age 82 of Wilmington, passed away Friday December 9, 2005 at Provena Villa Franciscan in Joliet.

Born February 16, 1923 in Burlington, IA, Frances was a daughter of the late Ralph and Johanna (Albrecht) Grothe. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington and an active volunteer at Kuzma Care Cottage. Frances loved her family and was devoted to her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three daughters: Patricia DiNardo of Joliet, Barbara (Michael) Hayden of Braceville and Leann (Gregg) Julian of Channahon. (10) Grandchildren, (10) Great Grandchildren and four brothers and one sister, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Edward Bruce, who she married in August of 1942, her parents and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 11, 2005 from 3:00-7:00PM and Monday December 12th from 9:00-9:40AM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 10:00AM in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Don Dyer officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.
