Frankie Zuniga

Age 58 of Morris, Illinois and Sheridan, Illinois, died Monday, May 12, 2025 at Endeavor Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois.

Born November 9, 1966 in San Diego, California, Fankie is a son of Frank Zuniga and Tina Amodeo. He was raised and educated in San Diego and graduated from San Diego High School with the Class of 1984. Frankie then moved to Illinois which he has called home ever since. He was the epitome of a hard working man, taking great pride in his devotion and work ethic. Frankie worked in the logistics industry for many years, much of that time spent working for Walmart Distribution in Elwood, Illinois. When he wasn't working, he took great pleasure in fishing and being outdoors. Frankie was always a reliable helping hand, ready and eager to help anyone who was in need.

Survivors include his parents: Frank (Anna) Zuniga of San Diego, California and Tina (Sam) Amodeo of Bensonville, Illinois; brothers and sisters: Eddie (the late Leslie Kolesar) Zuniga of Morris, who is his twin brother, Ronny Cano of Florida, Chris Amodeo of Chicago, Illinois, Tina Amodeo of Bensonville, Robert Amodeo of California, Sam Amodeo, Jr. of Florida, Faraon Zuniga of California, and Marisol Martinez of San Diego, California; and his nephew, Trace Zuniga of Morris.

Cremation rites are being accorded, and the family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 West Jefferson Street, in Morris on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
