GARY R. McCLEARY

Age 69 of Dwight, passed away Thursday August 04, 2005 at his home.

Born July 26, 1936 in Muscatine, Iowa, Gary was a son of the late Burdette and Leona (Beckman) McCleary. Gary was raised and educated in Iowa and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Gary enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include his four children: Gary (Terri) McCleary of Oregon, Cindy (Mike) Sanders of Morris and Joe (Sonia) McCleary and Shawn McCleary, both of Oregon. Ten grandchildren and two brothers Richard (Ramona) McCleary and Terry McCleary, both of Rock Island, Illinois, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Monday August 08, 2005 between the hours of 5:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (1 Block East of IL Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday August 09, 2005 at 10AM in the funeral home with Pastor Richard Giovannetti officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Pallbearers will be Gary McCleary, Joe McCleary, Shawn McCleary, Mike Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Shawn Connor and Jason Chiccomoscolo

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gary's memory to The American Cancer Society.
