Gary Smith

GARY L. SMITH

Age 50 of Wilmington, passed away suddenly Tuesday October 25, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born April 27, 1955 in Chanute, KS, Gary was a son of Mary (Ingals) and the late Lyman Smith. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed by R.M.T. Trucking of Morocco, Indiana. He loved hunting, fishing and wood carving.

Survivors include his loving wife Vonda (Webb) and three sons: Dale, Derek (Tiffany) and Dustin Smith, all of Wilmington. One granddaughter Kendall, his mother Mary of Doniphan, MO and four brothers: Smitty (Wilma) and Kevin (Alucian) of CA, Ernie (Iona) of Wyoming and Donny (Betty) of KS, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2005 from 4-8PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 10AM in the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Taylor officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gary's name to his family.
