GENEVIEVE "GEN" DeCECCO Age 87 of Coal City, passed away Friday June 24, 2005 at the Grundy County Home.

Born December 17, 1917 in Coal City, Genevieve was the daughter of Frederick and Jennie Wendell and she was raised and educated in Coal City. In ________ Genevieve married William "Bill" DeCecco, and they lived their entire married life in Coal City. Genevieve worked as a seamstress for Toni Garment's, as well as Hyman Clothing.

Survivors include nieces: Mary Pat (Ken) Mack and Lynne (Richard) Tarman, both of Coal City and Vera (George) Thom of Joliet. Nephew: Henry "Tom" (Helen) Wendell of Coal City and special great nieces and nephews: Deborah (Mark) Crabtree of Bolingbrook, Judith Mack of Rockford and Kenneth Mack of Coal City and one brother Jim Wendell of Coal City, as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill and (10) brothers and Sisters.

Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington and arrangements were under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Coal City.

Preferred memorials as gifts in Genevieve's name may be extended to the Grundy County Home Activities Department a�" 1338 Clay Street, Morris, Illinois 60450.
