Grace Kelley

Age 91, of Addison, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital.

Born January 21, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, Grace was a daughter of Louis and Josephine (Muscia) Giacobbe, and was raised in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the west side of Chicago.

She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Parish in Addison. In her free time, Grace enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and jewelry making. She was known for her skill in the kitchen as a good cook and baker, and she especially valued time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Robert (Sandra) Kulas of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Marybeth (Michael) Costello of Addison, Illinois; three grandchildren: Matthew Gatz (Sarah), Franchesca Gatz (Ken) and Samantha (Tyler) Bice; five great grandchildren: Travis, Oliver, Leo, Mason and Miles; one brother, Anthony (Rosalie) Giacobbe of California and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Kelley (2001); first husband and the father of her children, Frank C. Kulas, and six siblings.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 1223 W Holtz Avenue in Addison, IL on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service, 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Binu Varghese presiding and Deacon Sean McGreal assisting.

Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, where Grace will be laid to rest with her late husband, Richard.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Grace’s memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
