HAROLD W. WAGONER, JR. "Skip"

Age 59 of Coal City, passed away Friday February 3, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, after fighting a courageous battle with Cancer.

Born July 28, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, Skip was a son of Maxine and the late Harold W. "Skip" Wagoner, Sr. He was raised and educated in Ohio and moved to Morris in 1964. On December 08, 1973 Skip married Diane Hart in the Presbyterian Church in Morris. Together they lived most of their married life in Coal City. Skip was employed over the past 5 years with the Wal-Mart on Larkin Avenue in Joliet and he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In his free time Skip enjoyed taking care of his pets, gardening, woodworking and traveling, which included his most recent trip to visit his daughters family in St. Marys, Georgia and dining at the Lady and Sons Restaurant in Savannah.

Survivors include his loving wife Diane, mother Maxine of California; three daughters: Holly (Todd) Momper of Wilmington, Heidi (William) Reid of St. Marys, Georgia and Heather (Rick) Shouse of Morris. (8) Grandchildren: Aimee, Leslie and Benjamin Momper, Tim, Matt and Emily Reid and Brenden and Gabriel Shouse and one sister Cheri Swarthout and one niece Karissa Swarthout, both of California.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 07, 2006 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM at the First Christian Church of Morris. 455 West Southmor Road in Morris. A celebration of Skip's life will then follow at 10:30AM with Pastor Todd Thomson officiating.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Skip's memory to his family for distribution to various local charities of their choice

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
