HELEN L. BRYAN

Age 86 of Wilmington, passed away at the Ft. Lauderdale Medical Center in Florida.

Born December 05, 1919 in Boon Twp, Warrick Co., Indiana, Helen was a daughter of the late Oscar and Marie (Hanald) Bullock. Helen was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington; Women of the Lions; Wilmington Moose Lodge; Past Grand Guardian for the State of Illinois; Order of Jobs Daughters; P.E.O. Order of the Eastern Star; T.O.P.S. Club, Inc. and Wilmington Senior Citizens, where she provided numerous meals, using her wonderful cooking skills. Helen owned and operated Bryan's Restaurant for many years with her late husband.

Survivors include her two loving daughters: Patricia Gonzalez of Lauderhill, Florida and Sonja (Jim) Eaton of Huston, Missouri. Six grandchildren: Millie (Mike) Jezior, Bill (Rita) Bryan, Mike Bryan, Sabina (Jim) Boyden; Bryan (Sandra Thomas) Sibert and Craig (Brenda) Sibert. Six great grandchildren: Stefani, Kelly, Nick, Aubree, Joshua and Nathan and three sisters: Alberta Murray and Doris Hentze, both of Wilmington and Sandra (John) Della Ratta of Utah, as well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday February 24, 2006 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at The First United Methodist Church of Wilmington, 401 E. Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Saturday February 25th at 10:00AM in the church with Rev. David Lagos-Fonseca and Rev. Shirley Pulgar-Hughes officiating. A funeral luncheon will immediately follow the services in the Fellowship Hall at the church and a private family interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.

Helen's Grandchildren will act as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Helen's name to the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
