ISABEL A. RAYBURN (nee Cairns)

Age 93 and formerly of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday April 26, 2006 in Montello, Wisconsin.

Born June 10, 1912 in Standard, Illinois, Isabel was a daughter of the late John and Nellie (Donna) Cairns.

Isabel was co-owner of Rayburn Trucking, Inc., one of the founders of the Wilmington Recreation Club and member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington and the Women's Auxiliary of the Malcomb J. Mayo V.F.W. Post in Wilmington. Isabel was retired from the US Government in Rock Island, Illinois and enjoyed bowling and playing pinochle.

Survivors include her two loving sons: Lyn (Krista) Rayburn of Montello, WI and Jack (Sue) Rayburn of Crystal Lake, IL. One sister Rose Cairns of Montello, WI; (8) Grandchildren; Three Step Grandchildren; Two Step Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews: Russ Gilmore and sons, Sandy (Donald) Farr and John (Terrie) Cairns and their Family.

Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, one son Lee, one brother and sister-in-law John and Ruth Cairns and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean and Russ Gilmore and Lucille and Casey Golden.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 29, 2006 from 9:00AM until 10:45AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (2 Blocks North of Illinois Route 53/Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will then follow at 11:00AM in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorial may be made as gifts in Isabel's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 South Main Street, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.

Funeral Services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
