James T. Carver
"Jim"
Age 75 of Maryville, Tennessee and formerly Wilmington passed away December 31, 2010.
Born January 22, 1935, Jim was a son of the late John and Cora Carver. He was retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company of Joliet, after 30 years of service, and can be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Jim also enjoyed bluegrass and southern gospel music.
Survivors include his loving wife Sandra; three daughters: Donna Stanfield, Cheryl Wellington and Susan Mason; one sister Jonnie (Andrew) Morton; sister-in-law Mary; four grandchildren: Mike, Paul, Kyle and Kassie and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents: John and Cora Carver and brothers: Lonnie, Bill, Paul and Eddie.
In accordance with Jim's wishes, his body has been donated for scientific research. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
