Jeanette Petrovich

Age 64 of Wilmington, Illinois, formerly of Lansing, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

Born May 22, 11962 in Blue Island, Illinois, Jeanette Renee was a daughter of Richard and Renee (Logan) Seibert. She was raised in South Holland, Illinois, where she attended Waterman Grade School and Thornridge High School. Jeanette enjoyed working in customer service, both as a waitress and cashier. She had a knack for sharing kindness with her patrons and was always striving to make their day.

As a younger woman, Jeanette enjoyed shooting pool and has always been an avid reader. She was a lover of all animals and found great entertainment in watching movies or funny videos online. Jeanette's family was her purpose through thick and thin. She gave all of herself, even when she was was experiencing her own hardships, she tried her best to be the best version of herself. Jeanette was so proud to be a mother and grandmother, cherishing the good moments made with her family. Her work ethic was incomparable, and the strength she displayed was an inspiration to her family and friends who knew her best.

Survivors include her three children: Eddie (Kristen) Petrovich and Ruby Petrovich, both of Wilmington, and Ian (Makala) Petrovich of Braidwood, IL; five grandchildren: Logan, Edie, Nadia, Kinzie, and Macklin; three sisters: Roxanne (Mike) Guadagno of Rolling Meadows, IL, Lisa (Aubrey) Glisson of Braidwood, IL, and Juliet (Brian) Howerton of Hobart, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Renee Seibert.

Cremation rites are being accorded, and a private inurnment will be held at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, where Jeanette will be laid to rest with her parents.
