Age 67 of Wilmington, Illinois died Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois.
Born July 29, 1955 in WaKeeney, Kansas, James Allen is a son of Mary (nee Marston) Hunt and the late Wayne Eldon Hunt. He was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1973. Throughout his high school years, Jim was active in football and wrestling and his love for all things Wildcat continued throughout his entire life. Jim worked as a brick layer, as well as held employment with Waste Management. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wilmington, and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors; walking, and socializing throughout town. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. In addition to following all of the Wilmington sports, Jim was a fan of Chicago sports including the Cubs, Bears and Bulls, and his knowledge of sports facts was vast.
