Age 79 of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Former resident of Mt. Greenwood and member of St. Christina Catholic Church, Chicago, Illinois. Former founder of The Caring Ladies Crochet Group, crocheting and donating hats and blankets to local hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Former member of Mt. Greenwood Garden Club, sharing her love of flowers with the community.
JoAnn worked for Illinois Bell and retired from SBC Global telephone company.
Survived by daughter, Julie (Gerard) Neveau; son, Frank (Tracy); grandchildren Abigail Neveau and Dakota Gallagher; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her father, John Robert Goudie, Sr.; mother Stephanie (nee Antas) Goudie, and her brothers James Goudie and John Goudie.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at St. Christina Catholic Church, 3342 W. 111th St. in Chicago on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Father Thomas Bernas presiding.
