JOHN A. KURIGER "JOHNNY"

Age 29 of Buford, GA and formerly Coal City passed away suddenly June 10, 2006 in Lilburn, GA, as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Born October 31, 1976 in Joliet, Johnny is the son of Carol Majewsky of Buford, GA and Frank (Rosann) Kuriger of Joliet. He was raised and educated in Coal City and moved to Buford, GA in 2005. Johnny worked as a heavy equipment operator and he loved fishing and motocross racing, as well as his friends and family.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters: Theresa (Bob) Bingham of Buford, GA, Jayme Rury of Joliet and Faith (Marshall) Chisenall of Coal City. Three nieces: Melissa Bingham, Makayla Bingham and Brittany Atkinson and two nephews: Jacob Bingham and Ryan Rury, as well as numerous, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Johnny was preceded in death by his brother Frankie Kuriger; maternal grandmother Florence Majewsky; paternal grandparents: Frank and Amelia Kuriger and one niece Kaitlynn Chisenall.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 15, 2006 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Friday June 16th at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.

Pallbearers will be: Steven Raulerson, Kevin Raulerson, Ritchie Lanvermier, Jay Bricco, Buck Powell and Matt Terry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ryan "Mongo" Allen, Jeff Vilt, Mike Podavado, Matt Campo and Roger Flint.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Johnny's memory to his family for distribution to various local charities of their choice.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
