Age 15 of Wilmington, passed away suddenly Saturday July 29, 2006 at his home.

Born September 27, 1990 in Joliet, Joey is a son of Timothy and Debbie (Harms) Spisak. Joey was a sophomore at Wilmington High School, and was very active in school events a�" playing football and was a member of the wrestling team. He loved the outdoors, fishing and using his sense of humor to help anyone with anything.

Survivors include his parents; one brother Timothy M. Spisak and one sister Heather (fiancAC. - Josh Sabotta); maternal grandmother Dorothy Harms of Wilmington, paternal grandmother Roberta Spisak of Joliet, three aunts and uncles: Candy (Mark) Shell and Tina Rodriguez both of Wilmington, Lynn (Bill) Barra of Joliet and Robert Spisak of Chatsworth. Special cousins: Damian and Stephen Rodriguez and Joelle and Philip Lusson, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Mikey.

Joey was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Pete Harms and George Spisak and two uncles Ron Spisak and Joe Harms.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Wednesday August 02, 2006 between the hours of 3:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Thursday August 3rd at 10:00AM in Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated will Rev. Steve Bondi officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Joey's memory to the Wilmington High School Fund or Saint Rose Catholic School.
