Joyce A. Goodwin

Age 75, formerly of Coal City, and a long time resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Sunday January 18, 2015 at Morris Hospital.

Born March 5, 1939 in Chicago, Joyce was a daughter of the late Andrew and Grace (Metzger) Nelson.

Survivors include two sons: Tony Grosso of Carbon Hill and Tim Grosso of Crystal Lake; one grandson Dylan Grosso of DeKalb and two sisters: Gloria Knapp of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Karen (Ken) Jordahl of Foley, Alabama, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Goodwin; three brothers: Harry, Donny and Roy Nelson and one sister Mary Lou Zaininger.

Per Joyce's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private memorial will be held at a later date.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Joyce's memory to the American Cancer Society.
