Age 70 of Joliet, Illinois passed away Monday morning, December 13, 2021 at Aperion Care of Wilmington.

Born November 27, 1951 in Joliet, Judith was a daughter of Raymond and Anna May (Gil) Delach. She was raised in Joliet, where she was active in both Girl Scouts and dance. She graduated from Joliet West High School with the Class of 1969 and went on to attend St. Francis College, where she earned her Bachelors in Psychology. Judy enjoyed school, and was proud of her dedication to academics. She had a love for 60’s music, and though always quiet and rather private, she will be remembered as a good soul.

Survivors include her brothers: Lawrence (Chris) Delach of Morris and Raymond (Janice) Delach of Coal City; one niece, Courtney (Jon) Chapman of Shorewood; uncle and aunts: Bob (Cathy) Delach and Josephine Balma, both of Joliet and numerous cousins.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and only son, Eric Wilson.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service 12:00 p.m. Deacon William Dunn from Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City will preside. Those attending the visitation and funeral are kindly asked to wear face masks per CDC guidelines.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery, where Judy will be laid to rest near her son, Eric.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Judy’s memory to a Breast Cancer Research charity of the donor’s choosing.
