Judith DePaepe

Age 85 Morris, Illinois, died Monday, July 27, 2026 at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa, Illinois.

Born November 2, 1940 in Morris, Judith Ann was the daughter of Harold and Verna (Olson) Hall. She was raised and educated in Morris and graduated with the Class of 1958. Judith worked as a kitchen aid for 25 years at the Grundy County Nursing Home until she retired, all while raising her two children. She took pleasure in reading and working on puzzle books, as well as going out shopping.

Judith's kindness was her trademark, who was generous not just with her time but also with her love. She was a proud mother who relished time spent with family, grateful for those who were part of her life. Judith will be missed deeply by her daughter, Deborah Stutzki, and son, Michael Stutzki, both of Morris. She is also survived by several cousins, including Geraldine Olson of Morris, who she considered a sister.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents and companion of 30 years, Robert Bryan.

The family will receive friends at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 West Jefferson Street, in Morris on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Patrick Lohse will officiate, and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Morris.
