Julie Ann Galayda

Age 59 of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at home.

Born October 7, 1959 in Joliet, Julie Ann was a daughter of Robert and Betty (Smith) Brown. She was raised and educated in Joliet and went on to dedicate her life as a caretaker for the elderly. On March 18, 2000 Julie married Jonathan Galayda in Joliet, and together they made their home in Wilmington. In her free time, Julie enjoyed sewing and making her own clothes. She will be most remembered for her big heart and caring spirit.

Survivors include her husband, Jonathan; father: Robert (Sarah) Brown, and sisters, LeAnne (Eric) Maynard and Bobbi (Don) Peters.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service 3:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.
