Age 84 of Wilmington, formerly of Worth, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning July 19, 2020 at Aperion Care of Marseilles.

Born June 26, 1936 Chicago, Illinois, June Arlene was a daughter of Cornelius and Dorothy (nee Tobbe) Musch. She was raised and educated in Chicago Ridge and graduated from Eisenhower High School. In June of 1978, June married Oscar “Ozzie” Rettig in Worth, Illinois. She held employment as a cashier with Wee Sip Liquors and Mullaney’s Liquors.  June was a member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge #241 and enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, and truly loved the outdoors especially fishing.

Survivors include her children: Betty Webster and Deborah (Dale) McInerny both of Marseilles, and Jerry (Joann) Rapp of Burbank; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; great-great grandma of five; one brother, Clarence “Butch (Sharon) Musch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ozzie in 1998 and special friend, Larry Carr.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Thursday, July 23, 2020 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will follow on Friday morning, July 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, where June will be laid to rest with her late husband, Ozzie.
