Lenora Butterfield

LENORA D. BUTTERFIELD (Nee Curry)

Age 80 of Wesley Township, Wilmington, passed away Friday evening January 13, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born December 29, 1925 in Oak Park, Lenora was a daughter of the late John and Charlotte (Erickson) Curry.

Lenora was a very active member and elder of The First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington and a member of the Kankakee Women's Club and the Wesley Unit of Will County Homemakers Extension Association. Lenora greatly enjoyed homemaking skills.

Survivors include her loving husband Dale, two daughters: Charlyn (Donald) Burrows of Willow Brook and Diane Meers of Joliet and one granddaughter Erin Meers of Joliet.

Lenora was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jack.

The family will receive friends at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington on Monday January 16, 2006 between the hours of 4PM and 8PM. Lenora will then lie in state at The First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington (Corner of Kankakee and Van Buren Streets) on Tuesday January 17th from 9AM until time of funeral service 10AM. Rev. Kay Collins will officiate and a private family burial will follow in Oak Ridge a�" Glen Oaks Cemetery in Hillside.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Lenora's memory to The First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, The Wilmington Fire Department or Joliet Area Community Hospice.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
