Les Eck Leasure
Age 75 of Wilmington, passed away October 28, 2012 at his home.
Born June 25, 1937 in Wilmington, Les is a son of Temple Nadine Willis-Leasure of Wilmington and the late Leslie Nelson Leasure. He was raised in Ritchie; honorably served in the United States Army, and worked his entire life as a Union Laborer. Les was a former member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge, and will be remembered for always being on his motorcycle.
Survivors include his mother Temple Leasure of Wilmington; two daughters: Lynette and Michelle; one son Leslie Allen; several grandchildren including: Breanne Pryor, Jerrod Berkey and Tiana Berkey; two brothers: Everett Dale Leasure of Joliet and Kenneth Paul Leasure of Ritchie; his former wife and friend Cissy Leasure of Shorewood and five step-children.
Les is preceded in death by his father; sister Trudy in childhood and one daughter in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 12, 2012 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Tuesday November 13th at 1:00PM in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
