LESLIE KENNETH CARTER

Age 75 of Coal City, passed away Saturday morning February 25, 2006 in Morris.

Born June 05, 1930 in Lockport, Leslie was a son of the late Leslie J. and Nellie (Butler) Carter. He was raised and educated in Lockport and graduate from Lockport Township High School. Leslie was employed by Argonne National Laboratories as a chemical Analyst until his retirement in the mid 1980's.

Leslie is survived by his two daughters: Deborah (Noel) Trotter of Coal City and Kelly Carter of Chicago. One sister Dorothy Gleason of Lockport and three grandchildren: Terri (Randy) Trotter-Early, John Trotter and Dana Trotter, all of Coal City, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 27, 2006 from 10:00AM until time of funeral services 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Rev. Larry Boutelle from New Hope Presbyterian Church in Coal City will officiate and burial will follow in Braceville - Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Leslie's memory to New Hope Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 80 North Garfield, Coal City, Illinois 60416.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
